Season Updates

Planning is underway for the 2025 Tuscany Community Association (TCA) outdoor youth soccer season. Our recreational programs are offered for U4 through U12.

Registration will be capped based on the number of coaches who volunteer. Online registration for the 2024 season begins February 1 for children whose parents wish to coach or assistant coach, and February 13 at 10a for everyone else. We have once again partnered with New Frontier Soccer Club. The amazing coaches at NFSC will run our coach clinic and will provide a week-by-week curriculum for our sessions. This is a huge asset to our league and will be a tremendous help to our volunteer coaches!

Look for signs in the community at the end of January regarding registration. Information can also be found on the website at soccer.tuscanyca.org. The season will run from April 19 to June 21.

Volunteers Needed

The TCA youth soccer program cannot run without the volunteers who help out each year. All families are required to either volunteer for a position or pay a $50 non-volunteer fee. A number of key positions are required prior to registration:

• Coaches & Assistant coaches
• Team Managers
• Team Formation Coordinators
• Photo day Coordinator
• Photo distribution coordinator
• Equipment Coordinator
• Other miscellaneous duties

Volunteer sign up takes place during registration.

Registration for the 2024 Tuscany Community Soccer season is now open!

We are still in need of coaches for some several divisions. Always put your name on the waitlist if you do not get a spot and as we are able to add more coaches, you will receive an email to sign up. Just one volunteer coach can allow 10 to 12 a change to play! We provide free coach training through the amazing professional coaches at New Frontier Soccer Club as well as weekly training plans.

The 2023 Coach clinics will be held on Sunday April 16th at the Tuscany School Gym. This year we are lucky to have the professional coaches from New Frontier Soccer delivering the clinic.

Registration for players of parents who are volunteering to coach opens Wednesday February 1st and runs through February 14th.

General Registration for all other players opens February 15th and runs through to February 28th.

This year we are using a new system that should make registration and selecting your volunteer duties easier.

Reminders about registration: 

• You will need to purchase a TCA membership before the option to register for soccer becomes active.
• Once you select a volunteer duty you will see a volunteer discount of $50. We will have plenty of opportunities for volunteer for anyone who wants to – this is a volunteer driven league.
• Once you have selected at least one volunteer duty you will receive the discounted price for any additional players you register
• Please be sure to select the coaching duty that matches the team your player is playing on
  • Example: If you are signing your child up for U6 Saturday, the please select U6 Head Coach (or U6 Asst Coach) with dates showing for Saturdays

We have a new logo this year! After 20 years we decided it was time for a refresh and held a logo design contest last Summer. The winner, Ella Booth, played community soccer for many years when she was younger, and is currently one of our Tuscany Youth Council members. Check it out here!

2023 Soccer Season

Planning is underway for the 2023 Spring soccer season and we anticipate having a strong season this year with lots of interest already. A perk of a World Cup being held in December I suppose!

This year we are super excited to announce that we have partnered with New Frontier Soccer Club! The amazing coaches at NFSC will run our coach clinic and will provide a week-by-week curriculum for our sessions. This is a huge asset to our league and will be a tremendous help to our volunteer coaches! Feel free to stop by and watch a match if you see them out on the pitch. https://www.nfcalgarysoccer.com/

With that in mind, registration for families of coaches and assistant coaches will open on February 1! If you’re planning to coach this year, please register prior to the 14^th as we base the number of available player registrations on the number of coaches that we have sign. Registration for everyone else will open on Wednesday, February 15^th and will close on February 28^th.

Our season will run from April 22^nd until June 24^th.

2023 Programs Offered

Your registration fees include a jersey, a soccer ball for each child to keep, photos, and a medal at the end of the season. They also go to cover equipment costs, administrative fees, field permits, and coach training. Players will need to provide their own shin pads, socks and shoes. For the younger kids- runners are great, no need to purchase soccer cleats.

As you know the TCA Soccer League is driven by the fantastic volunteers that Coach, assist, organize, schedule, and coordinate. If you’re a parent that’s interested in Coaching (there is no experience necessary!) please register when it opens on February 7^th. The number of kids that can play is limited by the number of coaches we have. Coaching is a fantastic way to spend time with your kids, stay in shape, and meet new people in the community; plus we’ll give you a snazzy new whistle!
